Saucony again? Aww yea again and again! Today I had to break out my latest pickup, these Saucony Grid 9000 Sand. I feel like Saucony is totally killing it with the Shadow 6000s and Grid 9000s this year!
This particular pair gets its name from the colorway and for me is a versatile shoe! It’s light enough to wear in the spring and summer, but it has the khaki and dark green components that work well in the fall.
Saucony Grid 9000s are just great shoes overall and often available for under retail until a colorway sells out. I put some links to grab these down below if you’re feeling them.
There’s not a whole heck of a lot else I can say about these except I’m not stopping on copping colorways of this shoe anytime soon.
How are the materials?
The materials on these are aight. I can’t really tell if it’s a synthetic leather upper or an extremely short haired suede but either way it’s got that odd felt texture to it. I’m not going to say these are great materials, just good enough to make this a shoe of decent quality. Definitely not for those who are going to obsess on the material mix and construction, these are more of what I would call an everyday shoe that you can probably beat up a bit and not worry about it.
How do they fit?
The Saucony Grid 9000 Sand fit true to size and are very comfortable. Grid 9ks always look bigger on feet or on the shelves in pics online than they do in real life. These are actually way more low key than they appear probably even on my blog! The shape isn’t super pointy but still looks good on feet. The neoprene tongue definitely makes these feel nice and cushy up top instead of super stiff and the midsole offers a decent level of comfort. Definitely recommend these for kicks you can wear whenever and know they will feel great and look dope!
